Drumm Farm dedicates home to Summit at centennial celebration

Summit Homes is dedicated to building and supporting strong communities in Kansas City. We contribute time and resources to charitable endeavors focused on empowering communities and helping children and those who are unable to help themselves. It is our privilege and our responsibility to support organizations that are making a remarkable difference.  With that in mind, Summit has partnered with Drumm Farm Center for Children since 2012 providing financial support, leveraging our internal skills and external partnerships. Five years ago, as part of their planned expansion of the Drumm Farm campus, our lead architect donated her time and talents to provide them with new floor plan designs. We are proud to continue aiding Drumm Farm in their mission to help children in foster care and young adults who otherwise age out of the system, build successful lives. 

Last Friday, three homes were dedicated to top supporters of Drumm Farm at their Centennial Celebration. One of those homes was named the Summit Homes House. 

"It was a rewarding tribute to our partnership with Drumm Farm. We are proud of the support we have been able to contribute and it's an honor to have a home named after our company. It's a compliment to our entire team and their efforts, " said COO, Zalman Kohen. 

 Also at the event, Drumm Farm released a new book, "The Andrew Drumm Legacy: A Cattleman's Promise to Children," unveiled a new bust statue of Andrew Drumm. The attendees also enjoyed the premiere showing of the Andrew Drumm biographical film.

Drumm Farm is a special place that children and young adults in Missouri's foster care system can call home. Drumm Farm provides programs and services that support forever family environments, emotional and physical well-being, educational opportunities and personal growth. They added a secondary program for kids that have aged out of the foster care system, but need support as they begin their adult life.
