It's time to Spring Clean and donate for a good cause!

Attention Summit Homeowners! We're hosting a special event in conjunction with Flourish Furnishings. 

We believe that together, we can make a difference in our community and the way we live. This year in celebration of Earth Day, we're partnering with our homeowners and Flourish Furnishings to do some spring cleaning in our communities AND give back to those in need. 

If you have furniture or households items that you'd like to donate and live in the communities listed below, please set them outside your home by Friday, April 21, at 1:00 pm. Our Team  will come by to collect items between 1:00 and 3:00 and deliver them to Flourish Flourishings.

Community not listed? Or does that time not work? Please feel free to drop off your donations at one of the listed communities anytime after Sunday, April 16. 

Who is Flourish Furnishings? They are a Furniture Bank is the only not-for-profit furniture bank in the Kansas City area. They collect, prepare, and distribute donated furnishings and home essentials to offer a “hand up” to families that need it most. Flourish Furniture Bank’s mission is to improve lives by providing essential home furnishings to those seeking housing stability.

Items accepted:  Furniture: bed frames, dressers, nightstands, upholstered furniture, coffee/side tables, wood furniture, dining tables, dining chairs and bar stools, housewares: Pots and pans, glassware, dishware, utensils, small appliances, hot pads, can openers, Lamps, area rugs, microwaves (no built-ins), TVs, Bed, kitchen & bath linens. 

Items not accepted: Sofas over 7', entertainment centers, china cabinets, bookshelves over 4', glass tables, waterbeds, sleep number beds, large appliances, pianos, books, exercise machines, bikes/scooters, baby items, cribs, ceiling fans, cabinetry, propane tanks, holiday decor, pet items.

**Mattresses - Flourish is in desperate need of mattresses, but we are unable to load and deliver those to their location. If you have a mattress free of rips or stains that you would like to donate, please email Amy at info@flourishfurniturebank.org.
