Over the last four years, Norwalk has seen amazing growth in the retail and commercial businesses. Three new retail centers were built, providing fifteen new storefronts, including Jimmy Johns, Mahalo’s Coffee & Donuts, Johnson Orthodontics, Bellflower Floral, and several others.

Several local and chain restaurants also recently expanded into Norwalk, such as El Dorado Grill, Arby’s, Subway, 1908 Draught House, and the award-winning Pyra Pizzeria. Additional new medical and service-based businesses built new facilities, including Mercy Clinics, Arch Foot and Ankle, Edward Jones, Norwalk Chiropractic and Jones Family Dentistry.

And don't miss North Shore! North Shore is a 360-acre area on the north side of beautiful Lake Colchester. Norwalk is currently working to build a new four-story hotel with fine dining and additional retail along the highway, overlooking the lake, making Norwalk one of the most sought-after in the Des Moines Metro.
