Summit Homes for Little Heroes

THE HOME FOR LITTLE HEROES IS NOW FOR SALE! 

We are excited to announce our fourteenth charity home project: Summit Homes for Little Heroes, benefitting Children's Mercy. We had the privilege of building a Home for Little Heroes to benefit Children's Mercy in 2019, and we can't wait to support this incredible organization again. 

The Summit Home for Little Heroes will be a spacious two-story with a transitional design aesthetic. The Basswood features a large primary suite, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a learning lounge/loft space on the upper level. The home will be completed in early fall of 2024 and listed for sale. 

New this year, various partnership levels will allow any trade, supplier, local business or individual to support this project. As a company, we also match any of our team members' donations, up to $1000 per team member. 

Through donations and partnerships, we will build the home as close to zero cost as possible, allowing all proceeds to be donated to Children's Mercy. 

The funds raised will go towards the Children's Mercy Illuminate initiative. Children's Mercy is taking action to combat the youth mental health crisis in our community. Illuminate is an ambitious, five-year plan lighting the path forward for area youth by increasing access to evidence-based treatment with a specific focus on equity for our most vulnerable populations.

Summit Homes has a lot to be excited about this month. On top of announcing this charity home project, we underwent a company rebrand to showcase the new Summit Homes. While we're excited for our new look and feel, we're very excited to share our new why. "We're transforming housing and community design to offer attainable, sustainable, and well-designed homes, enabling homeownership for all." This charity home is no exception; while it will be one-of-a-kind, we're excited to keep the home price attainable with today's buyer in mind.
