Home Building Considered "Essential"

We've all heard the news of the "Stay at Home" order that goes into effect on Tuesday, March 24. We want to assure you that home construction is considered "essential." Additionally, the operations of title and mortgage companies are "essential." 

While our business will look a little different through April, we continue to be fully operational. What we do is important. Many people are already packed up and ready to move into their new home, and we want to make sure that happens. 

HOME SHOPPERS
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, our communities will shift to "By Appointment Only." To arrange a showing, call (816) 326-2909, and our Online Sales Consultant, Ashley, will assist. You have the option of a virtual tour on an in-person visit. Virtual tours can be done via FaceTime, Zoom or even Facebook messenger. 

For an in-person visit, Ashley, our Online Sales Consultant, will run through a quick health screening questionnaire to comply with CDC protocols before confirming the appointment. The health of you, our Community Managers and community remain our top priority. Please know, during your appointment, we'll maintain a 6-ft distance, wash hands and disinfectant before and after the home viewing. 

CURRENT SUMMIT HOME BUYERS
If you've recently purchased as Summit Home, move-in ready, or new build, the construction on your home will continue. Your Community Manager and Personal Builder continue to be your main point-of-contact as we work through this unprecedented situation. As we mentioned, title and mortgage services are considered essential and home closings will continue as planned. 

VALUED TRADE PARTNERS
Our work is critical during this time as we provide shelter to the great people in the Kansas City metro. We're also pleased to keep our valuable trade partners working and earning a paycheck during this challenging time. As construction operations continue, we will comply with all CDC protocols on and around our job sites and ask that our trade-partners too follow the guidelines. 

We will continue to monitor the situation actively and gather recommendations from the CDC to help keep our Team Members and our customers informed.
