Special Message from Summit Homes Regarding COVID-19

Summit Homes continues to assess the impact of COVID-19 in consultation with our parent company, Clayton Properties Group, the CDC and local health officials. The health and safety of our Team Members, tradespeople, homeowners, customers and community visitors is our number one priority. 

All Summit Communities will remain open to the public during our regular hours, and all operations are moving forward as planned. 

To enhance our cleaning procedures at our community Information Centers, current homes for sale, Design Studio and Summit office, we are increasing the frequency and the scope of work to help eliminate germs. Like many others, we’re taking guidance from the CDC, which recommends regular cleaning as one of the most important preventive measures we can take. We are also asking our Community Managers and Team Members to follow the CDC precautionary steps by avoiding shaking hands and maintaining a healthy distance when engaging with the public. 

Speaking of our team, we are implementing several steps to protect the health of our Team Members. In addition to following the CDC recommendations, our Team Members have the benefit of self-managed paid time off and are encouraged to stay home if they are not feeling well. Company travel has been suspended for the next 30-days, along with any large group meetings and events that require us to be in unnecessary proximity. Additional disinfecting products and hand sanitizers are readily available in common spaces, and Team Members are asked to wipe down their work areas regularly. 

We will continue to actively monitor the situation and gather recommendations from the CDC to help keep our Team Members and our customers informed.
