Hope Haven Room Refresh

This past week a group of our team members had an opportunity to support Hope Haven of Cass County and shine a light into the work they do for our city.

If you’re not familiar with Hope Haven, they exist to provide safe shelter, concentrated supportive services, community resources, and education to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Our goal for the day was to revitalize the children's playroom and create a space that fosters creativity, healing and brings the children staying at Hope Haven a place to enjoy.

Our Director of Design, Darrell Naeger, championed the project by designing the space and arranging for the Summit team to bring the vision to life. The Summit team quickly jumped into action to paint the walls and ceiling, repair the flooring, build a blackboard, cover a utility box with art and then decorate the room with all new furniture, shelving, rugs and toys.

A special thank you to R-G Federal Credit Union for donating several toys that were on Hope Haven’s wish list.
