From the architect who draws the plans to the carpenter who installs the final hardware, there are a lot of people behind every Summit home we build. At the center of it all, there is a Project Manager orchestrating every step of the process. Each month, we feature one of these talented builders from our team.

Doug Jensen Regional Director –Project Management

  Doug has been with Summit for a little over three years and currently serves as the Regional Director of Project Management for southern Missouri. He oversees the team of Summit’s professional builders who build homes in our six Summit Exclusive Communities and several other communities throughout Missouri.   While studying to receive a Construction Management degree at BYU-Idaho, Doug founded his own commercial construction company and worked on local projects in his college town. After he graduated, Doug continued to work in commercial construction, building all over the United States and Canada. In 2011, he transitioned to residential construction and started at Summit as a Construction Manager. Fun Fact: Doug lived in Sweden for two years and is still fluent in Swedish. Doug was the Construction Manager for the 2013 St. Jude Dream Home and this past summer he was promoted to Regional Director of Project Management. Fun fact: If Doug was stuck on a deserted island the three things he'd most want to have with him would be a float plane, a fishing pole, and his wife!   Doug lives with his wife and four young daughters in Raymore, MO. He is active in his church community and enjoys camping, shooting and riding horses with his family.
