Summit Homes partners with the Rob Ellerman Team for annual golf tournament

Summit Homes proudly joined forces with the Rob Ellerman Team at ReeceNichols for its 11th annual Raising Hope KC Charity Golf Tournament, resulting in a remarkable achievement. A staggering $185,505 was raised, setting a new record in support of four exceptional local organizations: Drumm Farm Center for Children, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City, Saint Luke's Foundation, and Wayside Waifs.

The golf tournament took place on Thursday, May 25, at the Drumm Farm Golf Club. Members of the real estate community, construction trade partners, influential community leaders, and friends came together to make this event a resounding success. 

Following a perfect day of golf, participants were treated to a raffle prize giveaway and celebrated the outstanding performances of the top-scoring teams.

By partnering with the Rob Ellerman Team and ReeceNichols, Summit Homes demonstrated its unwavering commitment to giving back to the community. This collaboration has undoubtedly made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals served by the Drumm Farm Center for Children, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City, Saint Luke's Foundation, and Wayside Waifs. Together, creating a brighter future for the community, one stroke at a time.

Wayside Waifs: It is only through the generosity of our donors, friends and community partners that Wayside Waifs is able to provide services to the public that expand beyond a traditional animal shelter. We are committed to protecting and caring for the animals under our watch, which includes life-saving medical care, behavior modification, love, and compassion. For nearly 80 Wayside Waifs continues to administer programs designed to better lives of both pets and people, and programs and services include life-changing Humane Education programming, Animal Rescue in situations of natural disasters, animal hoarding, puppy mills and more. We are deeply, deeply grateful for the sponsors who have made today’s Charity Golf Tournament possible and are incredibly appreciative to be included as a beneficiary. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City: For one hundred ten years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City has provided youth ages 5-18 a fun and safe environment to learn, play, meet new friends, and grow -- with particular emphasis on youth who need us most. From sports, digital arts, and media to group activities and tutoring, the Clubs provide caring adult mentors, friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during critical non-school hours. Club programs emphasize academic success, good character, citizenship, and healthy lifestyles to nearly 1,000 area youth each day. Whether it is learning how an individual can make a difference in their community or how to swim – the Clubs strive to help youth feel important and put their dreams of a Great Future within reach. Drumm Farm for Children: Nestled among 32 acres of tall trees and rolling hills, Drumm Farm Center for Children serves children and families in foster care and youth experiencing homelessness through an array of wraparound support services. With 31 transitional living apartments, 11 foster homes, and a street outreach program that serves 25-50 youth on a daily basis, everyone under the Drumm umbrella has complimentary access to counseling, educational support, trauma-informed case management, life skills-training for adulthood, and a community atmosphere unlike any other.
