At Summit Homes, we are committed to building and supporting strong communities. One of the things we like to do is bring our homeowners together so neighbors can become friends. Over the years we've hired local food and party trucks to help us celebrate and serve up some amazing food and drinks to our residents. 

If you're looking for some local food truck ideas, here are a few of our favorites. 

Taco Republic: The Taco Republic Truck is a fully-functioning catering and mobile restaurant. The truck menu items include street tacos, fresh salsa, guacamole, and THE MOST AMAZING queso served with fresh tortilla chips and much more. They also offer a variety of Mexican drinks including Jarritos and Coca-Cola, as well as margaritas and beers.

Melt Box: Are you looking for some amazing ice cream on the go? Melt Box offers bold flavors partnered with unique toppings and a one-of-a-kind presentation. Flavors vary from classic favorites to things you won't find anywhere else. Toppings include your favorite childhood cereals, marshmallows, candies with sauces to push it over the edge. 

Fizzolino: Fizzolino is a 1998 Piaggio Ape — a glorified Vespa with a truck bed. It serves as a 3-wheeled mobile bartending truck with three taps ready for any event.  They can tap beer, wine — including sparkling wine, like Prosecco, — and even cocktails, like margaritas! If you’re looking for non-alcoholic options, they can tap soda, kombucha, and cold brew coffee, too. Its the highlight of any event. 

KC BBQ Truck: They are serving up some of Kansas City's most succulent smoked meats and hand-crafted side dishes. They offer smoked ribs, brisket, pulled pork, hot links, and other specialty items.  They hand-craft all side dishes and serve them up fresh. You can't go wrong with BBQ in Kansas City!
