NAHB Safety Award For Excellence (SAFE) Distinction
March 13, 2015
Safety on our construction sites is a top priority for every member of our team. Summit is committed to ensuring the safety of our employees, our trade partners, and the families who visit our homes every day. As part of this commitment, we have worked hard to develop and follow a comprehensive set of safety policies that exceed the standards set down by national and local laws.
Each year at the NAHB International Builders' Show, the National Association of Home Builders/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) is awarded to builders who demonstrate a commitment to the improvement and continuation of a strong safety program.
The award recognizes companies, workers and other individuals for the excellent safety programs that make them leaders in the residential construction industry.
We are honored to have received the SAFE distinction for “Single-Family Builders Safety Program of the Year” for the second year in a row.
Summit was recognized at the SAFE awards ceremony held during the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. Summit’s Doug Jenson, Regional Director of Project Management for Missouri South, accepted the award on behalf of our entire team.
“It is an honor to receive this award. Ensuring our job sites are clean and safe is a top priority for our team, and we could not have met the high safety standards we have set as a company without the hard work and dedication of our project managers and our trade partners,” Doug says.
