Summit Gives Back: Developing Potential

We are dedicated to building and supporting strong communities in Kansas City, Des Moines and throughout the United States. Directed by our employee-led Charitable Giving Committee, we contribute time and resources to charitable endeavors focused on empowering communities and helping children and those unable to help themselves. It is our privilege and our responsibility to support organizations that are making a remarkable difference.

We are excited to share the amazing work of one of the organizations we support: Developing Potential.

Their name says it all: Developing Potential. They believe in the potential and value of every individual served. They believe in honoring and helping each person develop a vibrant, meaningful and healthy life.

DPI provides outcome-driven supports to assist program participants in attaining their goals. The programs serve adults over the age of 21. The curriculum ranges from teaching necessary skills for independent living, like health and safety, to the more advanced skills needed in finding a job, maintaining personal finances, and achieving self-reliance.

More than ever, organizations like Development Potential are faced with unforeseen expenses for things like PPE. Our team wanted to ensure they can continue to deliver on their mission safely. To do so, we contributed $32,000 to help Developing Potenail purchase the various PPE items needed.
